My Great-grandfather lived at The Lodge, Merstham House until his death at 54 years in 1921. He was a highly regarded Groom/Domestic/ Chauffeur, but the family are sure he worked for Sir Jeremiah Coleman at Gatton Park. I understand that staff would work where needed in different households and this picture looks like him. I have just one other photograph of the family taken around 1909. Comment 2
