Hi,
Does anyone have anymore information on this property? Conducting a family history exercise and Darcy Cooper is a person of significant interest. I belive he lived in this house from around the 1920s onwards until his death in 1941.
Thanks in advance,
James

@M Barker ... Westridge is indeed where Francis D'Arcy Cooper lived. However this is not that house. His house was designed by the man who designed Port Sunlight and has more Timber and tiling. It may be that the house in the picture was demolished to make way for it. The house was bought by Francis Reckitt, renamed "Mount Pleasant" and used as a retreat for artists. Google will tell you more. Mount Pleasant was bought by a company who currently(Dec/20) have an application in with Reigate and Banstead to demolish it and replace with a new building. Hope that helps.
